Celtic crosses have deep origins predating Christianity in which they are believed to come from a circular stone worshipped by Druids that was blessed with a cross drawn down the center by Christian Saint Patrick. Now the cross serves as a symbol of the life sacrifice Jesus Christ made at his crucifixion to save the world. Going hand-in-hand with the Christian symbolism of the Celtic cross is the Celtic Trinity Knot, whose three corners have been used to represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit of the Holy Trinity.
